Consultant, Transaction Services, Deal Advisory

KPMG is seeking a motivated Consultant (Executive) to join our Transaction Services team within Deal Advisory in Almaty or Astana. In this role, you will be involved in transaction-related projects, supporting clients in making informed business decisions through financial analysis, due diligence, and other advisory services. You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain exposure to a variety of transactions involving local and international clients.

As part of the Transaction Services team, you will:

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team on complex Transaction Services assignments

• Support engagement planning and project management activities

• Communicate with clients and collect relevant financial and business information

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and assess financial performance

• Analyze financial data, identify key findings, and prepare reports

• Participate in the preparation of proposals and presentations for clients

You're the perfect fit if you:

• Have 1–3 years of relevant experience in Audit or Transaction Services (Big4 experience is a plus), or in a finance/accounting department of a company

• Have a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another relevant field, with a strong academic background

• Have knowledge of accounting standards and IFRS

• Have excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing

• Have strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Are able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

• Are currently pursuing ACCA or have an interest in professional certification (a plus)

• Have experience using AI tools in your work (a plus)
